When the new exhibit, “How Wine Became Modern,” opens tomorrow at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, it will mark the first time a major art institution considers the role of wine in modern culture. Jancis Robinson recently published an article in the Financial Times on the state of the Canadian wine industry. She noted that the top quality wines have benefited from global warming - allowing red wine grapes to develop fully, but not stifling production.
