Clos du Soleil Signature

An unfiltered Meritage blend of 52% Merlot, 26 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 9% Malbec aged 18 months in 80% French and 20% American oak barriques before bottling with a further six months in the bottle before release. Deeply coloured, this award winning wine has a rich, intense nose with dark plum and cocoa nuances. Roasted aromas preceed powerful flavours of black cherries, chocolate and dried herbs. The finish is long with softish tannins and balancing acidity. Enjoyable now, it will continue to develop over the next decade.
