A collaborative project by seven producers under the banner of Michel Rolland, this is a blend of composed of Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Very dark in the glass, this is not a shy wine. "Quite ripe, but focused and juicy, with blueberry, açaí berry and bramble notes laced with fruitcake and spice hints. Plum, dark raspberry, mocha, spicecake and tobacco on the complex and inviting nose. Supple and sweet but with lovely intensity and chocolatey ripeness to the plum and currant flavors. Plush and palate-saturating without coming across as heavy or overly sweet. Finishes with substantial tongue-dusting tannins and very good length.
